And to think that just a few years ago we watched the in crowd swooping
down on anything with Italy and 97 on the label right after Parker
declared the vintage to be exceptional. It was the first time I had
encountererd a Parker crowd in the wine store. They were insatiable and
passed up many a well priced bottle of earlier vintages.

(and I note your note on the Polizana Nobile obviously 97 was a very
good year for some wines.)
