Easy Cabbage Roll Casserole

1 lb. Hamburger
=BD lb. Sausage
1 med. Chopped onion
Brown meat and onion-drain then add:
1 can tomato soup *
1 can (16 oz) stewed tomatoes or 3 med. Fresh tomatoes peeled and
diced/enough to make 2 cups.
3 tablespoons converted rice.
Stir mixture and bring to a full rolling boil.

Chop 1 small head of cabbage (I use the packaged Cole slaw mix)

Spray a 13 X 9 X 2 pan with Pam (I use a light coating of butter)
Put chopped cabbage in bottom of pan should be about 1 inch deep.
Pour meat mixture over the cabbage. Cover with foil and bake @350
degrees for 2 hours.

Stir before serving, serve with mashed potatoes

*For juicier filling use the large can of soup.
