Well...
I have the wood/charcoal burning type,
and I can fit an entire 8 month old emu carcass in mine. ;-)

It's a New Braunfels Smoker with the fire box on one side.
I HAVE used it for grilling also in the main chamber by adding
fire boxes to the bottom under the grills.

Works great.
