In actual fact I think he has done an unenviable job pretty well. He
is not a dumbo and people who know him, who live near him in Glos,
generally rate him as a nice person. He was one of the first to
revert to farming naturally, the Cirencester Ag College make all their
students do a week at High Grove (his country estate with farm) to see
how farming can be done without large levels of chemicals. Aside from
that, he makes millions that run his programme for inner city kids
which has diverted and saved many a child from turning to crime.

Of course the press is never kind, British press isn't by and large
thus when he first started farming at High Grove they ran all that
rubbish about him 'talking to plants' and missed the valid point of
what he was doing.
