In actual fact I think he has done an unenviable job pretty well. He
is not a dumbo and people who know him, who live near him in Glos,
generally rate him as a nice person. He was one of the first to
revert to farming naturally, the Cirencester Ag College make all their
students do a week at High Grove (his country estate with farm) to see
how farming can be done without large levels of chemicals. Aside from
that, he makes millions that run his programme for inner city kids
which has diverted and saved many a child from turning to crime.

Of course the press is never kind, British press isn't by and large
thus when he first started farming at High Grove they ran all that
rubbish about him 'talking to plants' and missed the valid point of
what he was doing.

You must be of the generation who think that's ok and unavoidable
because that's how men are...

The guy doesn't impress me. The Queen is certainly on borrowed time now
and Charles is next in line. Personally, I'd like to see him pass the
title on to his eldest son.

Not that a Usain opinion matters at all.

There is a line of succession and the crown will pass to Charles. It's
the same thing as Meghan whining about her son not being called a
prince, he isn't one.

Funny how some people jump to false assumptions about things. I can't
help but thing back to Lady Di's death and people whining about them not
having the flag at half mast at Buckingham Palace, as if it were
violating British flag etiquette. British flag etiquette dictates that
the flag fly when the queen is in residence. She was not in residence.
She was at Balmoral, and the flag at Balmoral should have been at full
staff because she was in residence.

Half mast flags are really abused these days. There was a time when
they were only lowered for a very select group of people. It was really
abused here when we had troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and when one was
killed they would lower the flags. Sorry, but that not proper. We have
Remembrance Day, a special occasion on which flags are lowered to honour
ALL the war dead, not to honour certain individuals.

She whine about not having their security paid for. There is security
for active members of the royal family. They walked away from being
active members. They have lots of money. They can pay their own damned
security.

Having seen the Crown: the English monarchy is a ruthless
organisation. They're German, by the way. It's not really the House of
Windsor. It's the House of Saksen-Coburg. They changed their name
because of the war. So even after the Brexit, they're still ruled by
Germans

Mountbatten is an Anglo version of Phillip's real name, Von Battenburg.

Without looking very far back in time: the Dutch king is 75% German
and 25% Dutch. His children, including the future Queen, are 50%
Argentinian, 37% German and 13% Dutch. It's all a load of nonsense.

When WWI broke out the King of England, the Russian Tsar and the German

No need for the use of "Von," as it is more of the title part of it
all.

Victoria married Albert and the two of them proceeded to shower the
royalty of Europe with that heritage and a bit of hemophilia.
