No, it doesn't. A vaccinated person can still catch (and pass on)
the virus, the vaccine just reduces the severity of illness and makes
them less likely to need hospital care. Vaccination means you're more
likely to survive it so will reduce the death rate.

Don't delay vaccination, because as more vaccinated wrongly
immagine they are now immune, they will be less careful and put you at
higher risk.
