For a few years we'd buy frozen pizzas and doctor them to suit our
likes because there was no decent pizzaria up here, wasn't even a
chain pizza like the Hut close by. We began to find frozen pizza
boring, they are all about the same, we were spoiled by Brooklyn
pizzarias, the best was Spumoni Gardens. Good pizza is all about the
crust and sauce. Growing up in Gravesend I know pizza, and L&B is by
far the best and their Spumoni is to die for. Unfortunately
covid has ruined the experience. I lived a five minute bike ride
away and spent many summer hours at their outside tables.
