Which are reconstituted powdered potatoes. Those are easy and cheap,
and don't taste appreciably different from the boxes they're packaged in.

I wasn't always a food snob. When I was in my 20s, I smoked cigarettes,
which meant that I could consume awful food w/o finding it objectionable.
Imagine working 3rd shift, and lunch being a whole package of this:

instant mashed potatoes and instant coffee. Then I'd go home and chug
super cheap swill beer.
