You live too far inland, Carol. Waterfowl abounds here near the
ocean. It's not the ocean but all the bays and tributaries
surrounding me. I've watched flocks of geese fly right over me
each morning this week. I see a duck family walk by in my parking
lot many mornings right in my neighborhood.
Backbay, VA is an arctic waterfowl wintering place and hunting
those is very popular in Va.Beach. Also, many have elected to
stay in this area year round. The population of waterfowl grows
immense during our fall-winter months with the migrations.
