There is a lot of press these days on the fear that legalization will
lead to lots of drug impaired driving. I don't know why. Just as many
young people are smoking dope as there were when I was young. Based on
what I smell when I am driving around by motorcycle or out bicycling, I
would say that lots of people are already driving around stoned. I don't
imagine that legalization is going to make it any more of a problem.
If this was happening 30-40 years ago I would have been lined up at the
doors on opening day of the pot shops, but I have no interest in it
now. The last thing I need right now is to take up a form of smoking, or
getting a case of the munchies.
