Well, let's see if an old editor can make sense out of John's prose.

He's making centers, possibly raspberry flavored, possibly raspberry-caramel
flavored. He's poured the stuff out in a sheet to cool, and he needs to
cut it up so he can (I conjecture) coat it with something else (perhaps
chocolate). Once he's got this sticky stuff poured out into a fairly
thin sheet (maybe half an inch?), a pizza wheel is the best way to cut it.
