Yes, it will take some time. They have a big multi-tierd cage in the
lobby of the vet's office where they usually have a couple of cats up
for adoption. One was a tiny little calico kitten, I'm guessing less
than 5 months old. The other was an orange tabby, probably a couple of
years old. A man brought in his rather exhuberant dog who wanted to
greet them. The tabby went mrrrrowwww, hisssssss! I'd guess that cat
doesn't like dogs. BTW, the dog only had one front leg. You sure
couldn't tell by the way she pranced around she was "disabled". But
when her owner told her to sit, she did. Well-trained.

But no, I wasn't going to be walking away with another cat yesterday.
It's much too soon for me to think about it.
