My two Oaxacan colleagues beg to differ and claim chee-poat-lay and
that the Spaniards screwed up everyone's pronounciation... but
then again my linguistics friend insists we're all wrong and that the "tle"
is pronounced as a lateral affricate, like the 'll' in Welsh...
