My wife's sister hadn't spoken to her in 5 years. The day before my
wife died the sister left a message on my answering machine bitching
that I hadn't called her to tell her Kathy was sick.

Friggin' drama queens- It is always about them. It is a sad story,
though, that she never took the time to reach out and make amends
while my wife was still alive.
