: I am a non Christian, (Buddhist) but I participate in any sort of good time
: or fun that presents itself. If it could be said I "celebrate", that would
: be incorrect, as it is more of a folk holiday for me.
: I have many friends and relatives for whom it is their holiday, so I do some
: gifts and of course any family gatherings or meals. I send rather generic
: Xmas cards (Seasons Greetings) and try to enjoy myself as much as possible.
: That said, I absolutely hate the barrage of non stop Xmas carols, and the
: crass commercialism of the holiday itself. The gift giving has become
: overwhelmingly distracting to any meaning the holiday ever had. So most of
: my family and friends understand that my gift to them is that they don't
: have to give a gift to me. But I do give gifts to grandbabies. Xmas is
: best for kids anyway.

If I see another car ad with a big red bow or a bunch of cars driving
through snow with weird music i will scream!.. As I cannot remember which
car is being advertised is is a waste of advertisers money. the only one
I like is a chevey ad with the guy who comments that the other guy has cop
hair. I find it amusing.
