It's a frickin' damn blizzard here. Interstate highways 94 and 29 are
closed in all four directions. The wind is howling so loudly past my
windows that I had to turn up the radio to hear the news. I need
chili or bean soup or mashed potatoes and gravy . . . but got no
beans except one lousy can of butter beans. Couldn't get to the store
yesterday. Out of milk, no juice, no tomatoes, no ground beef. But
I've got some chicken thighs, got some potatoes, got celery & onions
so maybe I'm good to go!
