I wanted to do some ribs today, but didn't have any on hand. Walked
over to the co-op and they had some all-natural babybacks for
$4.99/pound. They were so small that it would've taken three $6.00
packages to even make it worthwhile, so I went to Albertsons. They had
some unadulterated St. Louis spares for $3.49/pound. Just as I was
grabbing a couple racks, I spotted a box labeled Danish Spareribs,
$1.49/pound.

That was the only box in the fresh display case, so I asked the
butcher if they had any more. They did, in the frozen-foods case with
the turkeys. I bought three boxes.
