But did they make anything you couldn't make on the stove with a pan
and a lid? Some of those gadgets have a heating element in the top so
they cook "both sides at once," sort of. But I have after many years
of patient practice actually learned how to turn things over in a pan,
so that feature is unnecessary. -aem
