Both baking bread and barbecue are very easy to do well. Sadly, neither
are commonly, or easily, purchased well.

There are vast stretches of this country where you can find neither good
bread nor good barbecue for sale at any price.

If you want to enjoy life, learn to do both well. And then learn to
brew, and you'll find good beer and good wine are as rare as good bread
and good barbecue.

One woefully ignorant poster commented that barbecue and smoked meat
"suck ass". This suggests that he never encountered GOOD barbecue or
smoked meat. Done right, they are the stuff of legend.
