Can I eat foods with sugar in them?

It is too bad your family members don't care about their health. I"m
not saying I sit and eat candy and cake each day but EVERYTHING IN
MODERATION and I do use Splenda in a lot of things.
People who AREN'T diabetics have heart problems, go on dialysis and
have all the problems you listed too. Don't blame diabetes for these
problems. Blame the people who don't take care of themselves.
Does your family see a Dr. on a regular basis?? I do. I see mine every
three months.
Stevia is non existent here in Alaska but I am able to get Splenda.
