# 2 Daughter the "baker/candy maker" just put out the following home made
goodies:

Dark chocolate peanut butter truffles
Pistachio toffee with almonds - hazelnuts coated in dark chocolate
Peanut brittle
Crackle chocolate cookies
frosted decorated butter cookies

The boss brought out

Bourbon brownies
Pretzel brittle

Crap I need a glass of milk....

I'm trying to wrap my head around this one: Is it pieces of toffee which
contains finely-chopped pistachios, whole almonds, and whole hazelnuts, with
each piece of toffee coated in dark chocolate?

Basically you're correct.

Toffee with chopped hazelnuts and chopped almonds with a layer of dark
chocolate on tip sprinkled with pistachios. Then broken into pieces like
brittle.

and very very good.

....like Almond Butter Crunch, only change the nuts. I can eat
almonds, so I made a reg'lar batch, and it's almost all gone - the
best I've ever made, if I do say so. I use the same recipe all the
time, and the only thing different this time was about 1/8 tsp. of
almond flavoring I added to the hot mixture - superb.

I used to coat C.W. Post cereal (I don't think they make it any more)
with melted semi-sweet chocolate - spread on a pan, chill, break into
chunks. That stuff was addictive - had to keep it in the fridge, but
it didn't last long, anyway.
