Orange flavor and chocolate go great together. I think I prefer mine from
grand marnier truffles but whatever floats ur boat. Raspberry goes wonderful with chocolate too.....and yes I use Chambord raspberry liquer for mine. "Dan Birchall" wrote in message ... I've encountered a couple orange-and-chocolate combinations over the years. One was Green & Black's "Maya Gold" (the first product to carry the "Fairtrade" mark) which is dark chocolate flavored with orange, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla - it was unlike anything I'd had before, and I confess I'd still choose their "plainer" flavors over it. The other was zChocolat's "Orangette" which is a thin strip of candied orange peel covered in dark chocolate. This wound up being one of my favorites from them. (I'd note that both of the aforementioned sites have been linked from my site at http://chocolocate.com/ for years and years, and I've... er... eaten my share of both. ![]() -Dan |

I highly recommend adding one square of Maya Gold to a mug of hot chocolate/cocoa. The spice/orange permeates the whole drink - delicious. -- Rod www.annalaurie.co.uk |
