What has been your best wine kit ever...????
Hey all,
been making wine a while and I make lots of fruit wines but mostly my grape wines are from kits, anybody buy anything they considered exceptional??? I am actually partial to Rieussec....or somthing like a sweet desert wine...Or perhaps in that style, not price range....lol.. Thanks!, Elliott |
Brewking Ice Wine Kit Everyone loves it.

No they don't!
I have never made it and probably never will You should say " I like it a lot and her is why-----" -- Trevor A Panther In South Yorkshire, England Remove "PSANTISPAM" from my address line to reply. "her" should be "here"
and BrewKing has been"Winexperpert" for months but seriously --- one should not make statements like "everyone loves it" -- 'cos not everyone does!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ----------ever! -- Trevor A Panther In South Yorkshire, England Remove "PSANTISPAM" from my address line to reply. WOW! Some people really can't spell, AND get all ****ed off when they are
drunk, apparently. I also like the Winexpert Icewine, but some say it is too sweet. |
The Winexperpert Ice Wine Kit is very good in my option.
Everyone that tried the one that I made liked it. Is this better and is every thing spelled right? Did I miss a comma or semicolon? Hope I didn't offend anybody. Russ |
Winexpert Ice-wine is very nice after dinner wine.
Everyone that tasted mine liked it. I sure it's not for everyone, it is sweet and in my option very tasty. And yes my instructions sheet says Brew King Selection Special Kit. I must have bought it before the name change. Sorry! Hope I spelled everything correctly? Russ |
"Russ" > wrote in message ... > Brewking Ice Wine Kit Everyone loves it. > > You mean they sell kits for this? Isn't it just concentrate not diluted as much? |
OK!
I like the Brew King Ice Wine Kit and here is why, it tastes freaking good...... And everybody that I given it to liked it also. My instruction sheet Reads Brew King Selection Speciale Kit. Must have gotten my Kit before the name change. Russ |
I paid 45 dollars for it.
Its just like any other boxed wine kit. It is a concentrate you add water to yield 11.5 liters of finished product. Is it a true Ice Wine? couldn't tell you but it taste good. |

I've had excellent luck w/ Wine Art's Cream Sherry. I added Corn
Sugar to make it a desert wine. At the time (4yrs ago), a kit made 3 gallons. I doubled it so I could use my 6 gallon carboys. I don't know a lot about Ice wine kits, however, based on the average
price for TRUE icewine juice coming from Niagara ($15-$20 CDN/liter for Vidal and $30-40 CDN/liter for Riesling or Cab Franc,) your concentrate isn't TRUE icewine...It is an Ice wine style wine... Although its not the real deal I am sure its pretty tasty..Especially if its made from Riesling... Cheers, Shawn P.S Cab Franc Icewine from Niagara...Is a true gift from the Gods and everyone should try it at least once in their lives... |

By my standards it has been Spagnol's Johannesburg Riesling and
Gewürztraminer. Both came out excellent. But then by the standards of people who drink my wine, it has been Island Mist Peach Chardonnay and Blackberry Merlot. People who do not normally like wine, love those two. So much depends on your target.
