Default Wine Equipment for sale

This is a list of used wine making equipment I am
selling. They are too big for my needs. These items came
from a small commercial winery in eastern Iowa and were
purchased new by them roughly three years before they
went out of business.

Presque Isle
Model B-50 Bladder Press
w/ cart mounted full reversing pump.

wt. approx. 285 lb. basket 20" x 26" vol. 32.5 Gal.
Pump Motor: 1.5 hp 110 V convertible to 220 V
single phase w/reversing switch.
Press Pump: gear type 100 psi. Full Reversing w/
pressure gauge, check valves & hoses.

This is a small high efficiency vert. basket press that
uses a water inflated neoprene bladder to press outward.
35 to 40 psi. is sufficient to press aprox. 150 gal per
ton yield from whites in two pressings. 60 psi. is the
recommended pressure limit.

The neoprene bladder is about 6 years old and appears to
be good, the manufacturer states about a ten year life
on these. Replacement Bladders are available from
Presque Isle.

-----------
Grape Crusher/Stemmer
(F. lli Rossi, Mod. Capri)
Motorized unit 110 convertible to 220 with nylon rollers
and stainless steel stem separation screen.

--------
Ebulliometer (Dujardin-Salleron Model 360)
Alcohol content meter approved for commerce by US.
treasury Dept. Testing is based on the difference in
the boiling points of water and wine. Instructions,
thermometer and temperature index incl.

---------
About 50 or more 500 foot (Aprox.) rolls of heavy gauge
galvanized high-tensile crimped trellis wire made
specifically for viticulture. It appears to be about 8
gauge or heavier. This wire is made specifically for
heavy bearing vines and is formidable. The wire is used,
but, is splice and kink free and shows no sign of
corrosion. There will be occasional tendrils on the
wire.

For those with no previous experience with high tensile
wire, this wire is formidable and will spring off the
coil and straighten if so allowed. HANDLE WITH CAUTION.
Standard wire cutters will not cut it and splices should
be made with sleeves and a nicopress tool specific to
this purpose. The wire is crimped every inch
throughout the length to provide a good grip for
tendrils and even tension throughout seasonal
temperature variations.

I will sell whole rolls by weight or will consider
offers for the lot. I will provide the approx. length to
weight ratio and the weight of the various rolls on
request.

Send a request for price list by E-mail or Snail Mail
