To All that responded,

Thank you to all who advised me about the photo. After reading
what you all said, I did further research on the painting and was
finally able to contact the painter, a Professor at an Arkansas
University. At first he was intruged, but after further consideration,
he decided not to give permission. I will respect his wishes.
I think I will take my digital camera down to the humane society
and find the ugliest mutt possible (preferable a red one)and take a
picture of it.
