changing time in recipe
Alright. I have my 25 pounds of strawberries now and am about to start my
batch. I am following the recipe from the wine makers recipe book. Do I need to change any of the times in the recipe because I am making a 5 gallon batch vs. a 1 gallon batch? thanks, joe |

Multiply all the quantities by 5, except the yeast, as one packet is good for 1-5 gallons. -- charles "Once ... in the wilds of Afghanistan, I lost my corkscrew, and we were forced to live on nothing but food and water for days." - W.C. Charles is right as far as quantities but in terms of time, no, you do not
change anything. It takes just as much time to make 1 gal as 20. Ray "Charles H" > wrote in message ... > Joe wrote: > > > Alright.
