Spring Vio bottling

Finally got the '07 Viognier into the bottle ... 7 cases, and not a
moment too soon - last years' Marsanne / Vio blend ran out just the
other day. She-who-must-be-obeyed was starting to chirp about lack of
sufficient white wine in the cabinet.

The grapes came in with pretty typical Cali Vio numbers -
Brix - 25
TA - 6.6 g/L
pH - 3.45 (!!)

Grapes came from the Fair Play AVA.

No MLF, but we did put the wine on oak (Chain - French medium) for the
last 3 to 4 months.

The nose is ambrosia. Classic Vio ... honeysuckle, passionfruit, orange
blossoms. Surprisingl good acid across the palate .. and a
lo-o-o-o-o-ng, warm finish. Only disappointment with this wine -
shoulda made more!
