] vintage on AOC wines. You CAN have a good non-vintage wine.

Indeed. Vallouit made a terrific St Joseph from the '91 vintage, labelled
"Les Anges" with no year. I think it was a special for a cruise line. Whatever,
it was very good.

Not that I disagree with Steve about the St Em.

I lovingly recall some non-vintage Chateau Margaux coming into
California and Canada in the late '60's...
