Full Bodied Red
Hi all
Total wine novice, but we like Hardy's and Jacob's Creek reds. Can anyone recommend alternative extremely full bodied reds for a change? We like the Shiraz offerings, but the emphasis must be on the richness and body. If you can stand a spoon in it that would be good. Budget £10-20 Thanks Phil |

They fit my idea of rich wines. Juan Gil Monastrell 2013 (Jumilla, Spain): around $12 in the USA according to winesearcher. Alto Moncayo Veraton 2012 (Campo de Borja, Spain): Grenache. Around $22 in the USA. Maurodos Prima 2012 (Toro, Spain): Tinto Fino. Around $16 in the USA. s |

Well within your budget - you should have no trouble finding it - and it is excellent value for money. st.h |

Nugan La Brutta 8 pounds on sale often, normal 15. Ironstone Reserve old vine zinfandel 9-15 pounds Gnarly head old vine zinfandel 11 pounds Wolf Blass gold label shiraz 2 for 20pounds Trivento golden reserve malbec 14pounds, 2 for 20. Famiglia bianco organic malbec 12pounds The only hardy's and jacob creeks Ive had where the cheap lines 5 pounds and I consider those thin compared to all the wines I mentioned. But it could be wine makers selection and VR lines you are drinking? |
