Default TN: 2004 Kim Crawford SB

Opened last night with a dinner of Malaysian seafood curry soup and red
chicken curry, to see if Lord St. H's pronouncements about the quality
of the '04 Sauvignon vintage in Kiwiland were to be believed.

nose: explosively fruity, with tropical notes and pronounced grassy
character
palate: rich, intense, grapefruit, grassiness, crisply acidic

Excellent wine, full of fruit and tasting almost sweet (though no RS I'm
sure). This is what Marlborough SB is all about. The only down side is
that the price has gone up this year to $18 per bottle, making it less
of a QPR favorite.
