2006 Mas D'En Compte White, Priorat
Had this wine last night with salmon grilled with Chimayo chile and
mango/avocado salsa. Magnificently balanced wine, nose of a white burgundy with cinnamon, good acidity and balanced finish. An unusual blend of white Grenache, Xar-lo, and Piquepoul. Never had anything quite like this. It was a present but I am going to look for more. |
