Simonnette Febvre Chablis 2005
9.99USD I said to myself ifthis tastes like a Macon Village the price is
right. St Veran and I made a good deal. Puoilly Fuisse and I would beg for more, but NO it actually tastes like a Chablis!! Color is a bit golden but tere is a bit of minerality on the nose and definitely good acidity and a little limestone on the tongue. Not to confuse with the best but this is damn good. Well I did get 6 bottles, better than none. If you see this for close to the price I paid, get what you can. -- Joseph Coulter, cruises and vacations www.josephcoulter.com 877 832 2021 904 631 8863 cell |

I've heard mixed reviews about '05 in Chablis, but this sounds like a classic "rising tide" sort of story. Mark Lipton -- alt.food.wine FAQ: http://winefaq.hostexcellence.com |
