Default Weighing Teas w/ My New Scale

My 200-Z arrived and I weighed everything just for the heck of being able to
learn the weight of what I'd been putting in my measuring spoon. It was
interesting to see the (in)consistencies and that 1 tsp can't be relied upon
to = 2g. One thing that surprised me was how much leaf drops from the spoon.
On a pot-by-pot basis, it doesn't seem like much, but when several teas are
handled in succession, the cluster on the counter was discomfiting. OTOH,
the amount of leaf on the counter from my using the scale was nothing, quite
the neater job.

I started with my white teas since they're the reason I bought the scale.
Never fitting into my spoon and always falling off, making white tea's been
more of an annoyance than the others. The scale is so easy to use, that
annoyance is gone until the batteries die or the scale breaks.

WHITE:
--Mutan, Upton ZW52, 1 heaping tsp = .9g
2 heaping tsp = 1.4g
1 heaping Tbl = 1.8g
--Snowbud, Adagio, 1 heaping tsp = .7g
2 heaping tsp = 1.4g
1 heaping Tbl = 1.9g
--Snow Buds, Upton ZW82, 1 heaping tsp = .7g
2 heaping tsp = 1.4g
1 heaping Tbl = 2g

GREEN:
--Decaf Green, Upton ZG09, 1 tsp = 1.5g, I like to use 1 rounded tsp which =
1.7g
--Earl Grey Green, Adagio, 1 tsp = 1.5g
--Earl Grey Green, Bigelow, contents of 2 teabags were <1 tsp each which =
1.6 and 1.7g, respectively
--Earl Grey Green, Culinary Teas, 1 tsp = 1.4g, I like to use 1-1/2 tsp
which = 2g
--Green Dew Gunpowder, Upton ZG32, I use 1/2 tsp per cup which = 1.2g, but 1
tsp = 2.1g instead of 2.4g as I expected
--Lung Ching, Upton ZG71, 1 tsp = 1.6g
--Pi Lo Chun, Adagio, 1 tsp = 1.4g
--Sencha, Upton TJ10, 1 tsp = 2g
--Decaf Sencha #2, The Tea Table, 1 tsp = 2g
--Decaf Green (sencha) w/ apricot, The Tea Table, 1 tsp = 1.5g

BLACK:
--Decaf Apricot, Upton TX17, 1 tsp = 2g
--Decaf Black Currant, Upton TX20, 1 tsp = 2g
--Currant, Adagio, 1 tsp = 1.7g
--Decaf Darjeeling, Upton TD09, 1 tsp = 2g
--Decaf English Breakfast, Upton TC09, 1 tsp = 2g
--English Breakfast Wilson Select, Upton TB18, 1 tsp = 2g
--Earl Grey, Bigelow, contents of 1 teabag were <1 tsp and = 1.8g
--Decaf Earl Grey, The Tea Table, 1 tsp = 2g
--Original Earl Grey, Upton TE10, 1 tsp = 2g
--Irish Breakfast, Adagio, 1 tsp = 1.7g
--Keemun, Upton TP12, 1 tsp = 2g
--Keemun Hao Ya, Adagio, 1 tsp = 2g
--Keemun Mao Feng, Adagio, 1 tsp = 1.7g
--Lion Mountain Keemun, The Tea Table, 1 tsp = 2g
--Lapsang Souchong, Upton ZS20 & ZS80, 1 tsp = 1.7g, but I use 1 rounded tsp
which = 2g
--Prince of Wales, Culinary Teas, 1 tsp = 1.8g
--Leaf Pu-Erh, Upton ZH25, 1 tsp = 2g
--Russian Caravan, local store, 1 tsp = 2g

HERBALS:
--Peppermint, Adagio, 1 tsp = .6g
--Rooibos Earl Grey, Upton BA19, 1 tsp = 1.6g
--Green Rooibos Poire Crème, Upton BA04, 1 tsp = 1.6g, but I like 1-1/2 tsp
which = 2g.

I s'pose I could draw some sort of conclusion from all this, but frankly,
after all the measuring, I've quite forgotten the point of doing it in the
first place.

I need to drink some tea.
