Default DaGuan TGY

Surprisingly this is a mainland style TGY from Taiwan ie heavily
oxidized or roasted.

The infused leaf is dark almost black green. The crinkled mostly
whole leaves are tiny so maybe an early flush. If anything it is a
tad lighter in taste than what you expect. $9/180g is a good price
for anything from Taiwan. This is a perfect grease cutter. I drank
so much of this style in the seventies Im slowly regaining my
appreciation. Due to the smelly box I removed the packaging. The
thick cardboard box shows little signs of loosing the oily aroma which
I mentioned in the King Hsuan post. There are a couple of email
addresses on the box. Im going to send a complaint.
