Default Assams, also Dooars

I am wondering what people's favorite Assams are this season? Also, I
have run across the Indian tea "type" Dooars lately in my reading on
the web, what are these? Has anyone tried them and are they like
Assams, Darjeelings, or Nilgiris, or none of the above?
