Default Tea on TV

Just catching up with Star Trek: TNG. The 1989 episode "Up the long
ladder" includes a Klingon tea ceremony offered by Worf to Pulaski as a
gesture of gratitude and conciliation.

Lieutenant Worf: It is a test of bravery - of one's ability to look at
the face of mortality. It is also a reminder that death is an experience
best shared - like the tea.
Doctor Pulaski: Worf, you're a romantic!
Lieutenant Worf: It is among the Klingons that love poetry achieves its
fullest flower.

The infusion in question is always fatal to humans and often so to
Klingons. When Worf prevents Pulaski from lifting her (very beautifully
presented) cup, she steps out to inject herself with an antidote, and
sips away. Everybody's happy.

That infusion isn't C. sinensis, obviously. Is it kudingcha?

Easily fatal in brews over 2 minutes regardless of antidote.
