Kosher Dill Pickles
3c. Cider vinegar 9c. Water ¼ c. canning salt 2 or 3 fresh dill 3 or 4 cloves of garlic per jar If desired, carrot sticks can be added with the cucumbers in jars. Wash canning jars. Wash cucumbers. Place dill in bottom of jar with cloves of garlic and arrange cucumbers in jar also. In the meantime, brine can be brought to a boil on stove. Pour over cukes and seal with sterilized lids. Process for 5 to 10 minutes in hot water bath. |
