Default Pumpkin Torte

Pumpkin Torte

1st Layer:
2 cup graham cracker crumbs (12 double crackers)
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted

Combine all ingredients and press into 9" x 13" pan.

2nd Layer:
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
16 oz. cream cheese

Mix with mixer and pour over crust. Bake at 350 F for 20 mins.

3rd Layer:
2 cup pumpkin
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Salt
1 env. Knox Gelatin
1/4 cup water
3 egg whites
1/4 cup sugar

Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Leave on burner and boil 3
mins. Remove from heat. Combine Knox Gelatin and water and stir into
mixture. Beat egg whites and sugar together. Fold into pumpkin mixture.
Pour over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate. To serve, top with whipped
creamor Cool Whip.
