Stuffed Bell Peppers
2 lbs. ground beef 1 lb. italian sausage, ground 1 large onion, chopped and fried in 1/2 cup margarine 1/2 cup regular rice, parboiled for 15 min, drain excess water Mix beef and sausage together, add the fried onions and rice. Mix completely. Cut the pepper long ways. To lie down in the casserole dish. Clean out inside of peppers making sure there are no seeds. Fill peppers up with mixture and place in casserole dish. Take one can of tomato soup and dilute it with one can of water and pour over the peppers and meat mixture. Cover with foil or lid of casserole and bake for 45 min to 1 hour.
