This may not use up much of your yogurt but here goes. My brother showed
me that this combination of 3 parts makes for a really good sauce (?) for just about anything you would just use regular mayo for. The yogurt gives it a slight tang. Chicken or Shrimp Salad 2 3 cups cooked chicken or shrimp (small but not the tiny ones) 1 part yogurt 1 part sour cream 1 part mayonnaise 2 3 Tbsp chopped green onion tops celery diced fine (optional) onion diced fine (optional) Old bay seasoning to taste (start with 1 tsp) salt pepper Season the meat with the Old Bay / salt pepper first. Mix together all but the chicken or shrimp (or whatever could be turkey ham you get the idea) Add the chopped meats Use as a chicken or shrimp salad on lettuce. Make a sandwich with it or serve it in a fried flour tortilla. I've also seen where they use yogurt as a buttermilk substitute. -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia Hill at .
