Kompot z Suszonych Sliwek

Polish Dry Fruit Compote

1 cup each dry fruits (plums, apples, apricots, pears)
1/2 tsp. finely chopped candied orange peel
1 cup sugar (to taste)
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1.5 quart (1.5L) water

In a pan, add all ingredients together. Bring to boil for 15 - 20 min.
Leave to chill. This is a very common Christmas recipe in Poland and is
often served in small cups.
