I've turned the house upside down this evening looking for the sweet
potatorecipe I made last year for Thanksgiving. We're going to my SIL's
and she asked if I'd do sweet potatoes again since they were so good last
time. I'd be glad to if I could remember how to do it.
I don't remember what was in the recipe but marshmallows weren't involved
--
it was more of a mashed sweet potato casserole type thing with chopped
pecans possibly mixed with brown sugar and butter sprinkled over the top.
I think I got it from an old Southern Living magazine but you can't see
more
than a couple of the archived recipes online unless you pay for a
subscription, which I'd rather not do. Does anyone make anything similar
to
this?
Also, I used to make a great sweet potato recipe that used Amaretto, it
came
from an old Food & Wine magazine from about 15 years ago, and naturally I
can't find it either. If either of these sound familiar, please share it
with me. Thanks!

Subject: Using Pistachio Nuts
I was at Costco and bought one of those giant bags of shelled pistachio
nuts. We have not eaten them as fast as I thought. I would like to use
them in cooking. The only thing I know to do with pistachios is ice cream
and rice. I don.t eat much of either of them.
