Default Baked Ziti Casserole

Baked Ziti Casserole

6 cups (16 ounce) Ronzoni Ziti, uncooked
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced.
3 cups (about 26 ounce jar) spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup dry red wine (optional)
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
Salt and ground black pepper to taste.
2 cups (8 ounce) shredded mozzarella cheese

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook meat, onion, and garlic
until meat is thoroughly cooked; drain.
In large bowl, stir together meat mixture, pasta, spaghetti
sauce, wine, and seasonings.
Pour into a 13x9 inch baking dish; sprinkle with cheese.
Bake 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Makes 8 servings.
