Mabel's Bacon Dressing For Wilted Lettuce

3 or 4 strips of bacon Fry crisp.
Beat an egg slightly, add
1/2 cup sugar,
1/4 cup vinegar and
1/4 cup water.

Mix well. Cook until it coats a spoon, watching closely, add crumbled
bacon and pour over lettuce.
