Many years ago when I was in junior high home-ec class (even us guys
had to take it back then) we made an applesauce cake right in the
baking pan. You started by melting the butter in the pan, then added
the other ingredients, mixed it up, and baked it. I used to have the
recipe but lost it a few years ago. Does anyone have a similar recipe
that they would share with us?

I can't seem to find a recipe for a wonderful dish I had once in Syracuse,
NY.... It was rich with the flavor of wine butter garlic and spices. They
called it Clams Provincial - had almost the texture and consistancy of
soup. We had it with wine and dipped garlic bread in it.

I can't seem to find any recipes for it - I was wondering if that's the
real name for the dish..

Does anyone have any clues?

My mother-in-law is looking for recipes from the Warsaw Polish buffet
restaurant in Chicago. She moved out here to California and really misses
this restaurant. I would like to surprise her with recipes of authentic
