Mantecados are a really good cinnamon and lemon cookie from Morocco. They
are also made with oil which I am trying to use instead of other fats.
Does anyone have a good recipes for this holiday cookie?

Subject: Zuccarines . Italian Cookie

Does any one have a recipe for Zuccarines ( at least that is told what
they
are called and I'm not even sure of the spelling). I was told that they
are
an Italian cookie. They are an anise flavored cookie with chopped anise
seeds in them. They are formed in the shape of a knot and have a powdered
sugar glaze over them. I have been trying for the past 3 years to find
the
recipe without any luck.
