Jean's Shortbread

1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup cornstarch
2 Tablespoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup icing sugar (aka confectioners sugar)
1 cup all purpose flour

Sift icing sugar, cornstarch and flour before measuring.

Cream butter, add icing sugar, cornstarch and flour. Shape into rolls.
Wrap in wax paper and chill or freeze. Slice and bake at 350 F for about
15 minutes.
