Cheaters Banana Bread Ice Cream with Peanut Butter Cups
2 eggs 3/4 cup sugar 1 cup milk 2 cups heavy cream 10.5 oz. Pillsbury Banana Bread Mix (about 3/4 of a regular 14 oz box...this can vary depending on how much banana taste you want, but I've found this measure works for me) 1 cup crushed peanut butter cups, any brand Beat the eggs for 1-2 minutes until light and fluffy. Slowly mix in the sugar. Once the sugar is entirely mixed, beat for one more minute. Add the milk, cream, and banana bread mix and stir until smooth and well mixed. Add the mixture to your ice cream maker and freeze according to your maker's specifications. When the ice cream is almost finished hardening (about two minutes before it's totally finished), add the crushed peanut butter cups. For extra soft ice cream, serve immediately, otherwise, freeze and enjoy later. -- Rec.food.recipes is moderated by Patricia D. Hill at . Only recipes and recipe requests are accepted for posting.
