When I was a kid in the '30's back in Missouri, I recall that my dad made
brick chili. I loved the stuff, but I never got a recipe handed down to
me. Does anyone here have a recipe and know the process of making it. I
make chili now and freeze it, but it's not the same.

Subject: Looking for Chinese restaurant style garlic green beans

The garlic green beans served at many Chinese restaurant buffets are
almost always my favorite food there. I've asked for the recipe but most
places are unable to supply it, for a variety of reasons. (Some say they
get it ready to heat, some claim the chef doesn't speak enough English to
give it, etc.) I would dearly love to be able to make this dish at home.
Does anyone have that recipe? Pretty please with lots of sauteed garlic on
it?
