There appear to be hundreds or thousands of recipes for chicken soup. I
am interested in recipes for soups which are your personal favorites.
Thanks for sharing.

Subject: recipe request - Roslyn's Cafe Sour Cream-Peach Pie
Date: 16 Jun 2004 15:37:23 -0700

Some years ago my wife and I were travelling in Washington State, and
we stopped in the town of Roslyn where the TV show "Northern Exposure"
was filmed. The name of the fictional town was "Cicely", but the cafe
in Roslyn is really called "Roslyn Cafe - An Oasis" and is as it
appears in the TV show (although the bar - "The Brick" - is across the
street).

At the Roslyn Cafe they served a fantastic Sour Cream-Peach Pie,
characterized by a creamy filling and a crunchy caramelized topping
(almost like a brulee topping). I've tried on a few occasions to
reverse-engineer the recipe with no luck. Does anyone have the
recipe?

thanks

Kevin

Hi. I'd would like to put out a request for any spicy oriental chicken
dishes. Something that calls for more meat than vegetables. Thank you.

I need simple recipes for vacation. I only have 2 burners and a
microwave. I don't want to spend too much time and need to feed 8
people.
Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks.

I'm looking for a recipe for a quick bread or muffin that uses dried
cranberries, not fresh ones. We don't have fresh ones in the stores right
now. I also need it to be without yeast. If you have such a recipe,
please
CC it to me ) when you post to the group. I have
*very* limited access to the newsgroup right now and it is hard for me to
sort through all the post in the short time I have online. Thank you very
much!
